How Easyplug works
Innovative Design:
The plug expands to secure itself inside the pipe opening. The slots move together when pressed into the pipe, ensuring a snug fit.
Conical Shape:
Easyplug’s conical shape allows for easy insertion and a tight seal. Easyplug is stackable reducing transport/ logistic cost.
Built for Stability:
We will use different types of plastic to make Easyplug stable so Easyplug remains in the pipe until delivered.

The walls of the slits move toward each other when the plug is inserted into the pipe. The plug adapts to the diameter of the Easyplug, ensuring a tight and secure fit

The plug is conical, which also allows Easyplug to be stacked. When Easyplug is installed, the conical wall conforms to the pipe opening. This ensures that Easyplug is firmly secured within the pipe opening.

To ensure flexibility in the center of the plug as well, we have incorporated a dedicated design feature. Its appearance resembles that of a “citrus juicer,” which helps illustrate its form.

The startup of
Easyplug
In the summer of 2023, I had a brief work periode at Pipelife Stathelle in Norway.
Although I didn’t work there for long, I quickly gained insight into one of the challenges many in the industry are familiar with – how demanding it can be to properly insert plugs into pipes.
One day, during an attempt to insert a plug, it slipped, and I sustained a large, round burn injury on my arm.
However, the pain from the wound became the seed for something greater – it was in that moment the idea for Easyplug was born.”

Jon Audun brings his entrepreneurial knowledge from running his own company and a creative spirit. He is the inventor of TheKnitRing, an idea inspired by knitting a complex patterned sweater for his girlfriend.
